Ten Hag Appointed Manchester United Manager
United's New Era Begins
Manchester United is thrilled to announce the appointment of Erik ten Hag as Men's First Team Manager, subject to work visa.
Ten Hag, 52, joins United from Ajax, where he has enjoyed a highly successful four-year spell. During his time in Amsterdam, he led the club to three Eredivisie titles, two KNVB Cups, and a place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2019.
In his first season at the club, Ten Hag also led Manchester United to a place in the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League by finishing third place in the top four.
"I am excited to be joining Manchester United and I can't wait to start working with the squad and implementing my long-term plan to achieve success," said Ten Hag.
"I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead this great club and I will do everything I can to bring success back to Old Trafford."
