Israeli Occupation Army Massacre In Gaza Refugee Camp

Israeli Occupation Army Massacre in Gaza Refugee Camp

Death Toll Rises to 40 as Hamas and Israel Trade Blame

815,000 Flee Rafah Amidst Fighting and Evacuation Orders

Tensions have reached a boiling point in the Gaza Strip after the Israeli occupation army's deadly strike on a refugee camp northwest of Rafah city on Thursday. The horrific attack claimed the lives of 40 people, casting a dark shadow over the region and sparking international condemnation.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated that they are investigating the strike after reports emerged that two senior Hamas officials were killed. However, Hamas has vehemently denied this claim and condemned the attack as a war crime.

The Rafah massacre occurred just days after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to halt its offensive in the city. The court's ruling highlights the growing international concern over the escalating violence in Gaza.

As a result of the ongoing fighting and Israeli evacuation orders, an estimated 815,000 people have already fled Rafah. The United Nations has expressed deep concern over the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Gaza Strip.

For over a week, Israel has been carrying out what it terms a "limited military operation" against Hamas in Rafah. The offensive has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians and widespread destruction.
