Overview of the Group Stage
The UEFA Champions League 2023/24 group stage features eight groups of four teams, competing for a place in the knockout rounds. Each team plays every other team in its group twice, once at home and once away.
The top two teams from each group qualify for the Round of 16, while the third-placed teams drop down to the UEFA Europa League.
